Reading about (and being totally envious of) Expozine , Montreal’s small press, zine and comic festival happening this weekend, led me to the Distrobot project. The organisers of Expozine are also behind this whereby, since way back in 2001, those clanky cigarette machines of yore have been reclaimed as art and small press dispensers in Montreal. Check out their mandate . With the government taking tentative steps towards banning cigarette vending machines in the UK, there might be some space opening up here…
